Our History
Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Ashburn, Virginia, FCi Federal provides essential operational support services to the Government. We employ more than 2,200 highly trained experts and operate in more than 40 states and territories and 125 geographically dispersed locations.
Building on more than 20 years of experience in the federal market, FCi Federal has recently been recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies locally and nationally by numerous organizations and publications including Inc. Magazine and the Washington Business Journal.
Led by Founder and Chairman Sharon D. Virts, the company was originally incorporated as FedConsulting. In 2011, the FCi Federal name and brand was launched to recognize a new strategic direction for the company. Today, FCi Federal is a market leader delivering operations management and professional services, program management services and records management directly to the government through several prime vehicles.
