Leesburg, Va. – FCi Federal today announced its acquisition of the field services segment of Dell Services Federal Government that holds the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Field Operations Support Services (FOSS) contract. Under the terms of the acquisition, FCi Federal now will assume prime contractor responsibility over all operations of the program.This acquisition supports FCi Federal’s strategy for continued growth in the area of business process outsourcing and mission-focused administrative support to the federal government.
“FCi Federal currently operates as a major support contractor to USCIS with seven other prime contracts with the agency,” said Sharon D. This acquisition builds on our operational strength and will allow us to proudly deliver a high level of customer service to USCIS.” The company currently supports the USCIS California Service Center and the Vermont Service Center under the Service Center Operations Support Services (SCOSS) contract. The FOSS contract provides support to more than 70 locations in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), USCIS Office of Field Operations (OFO) and Fraud Detection and National Security (FDNS) including records distribution and maintenance, fileoperations and maintenance, data entry, file and pendingapplication/petition inventory requirements, FBI name checks andfingerprint checks, interview and Oath Ceremony scheduling, and production of Naturalization/Citizenship Certificates.
FCi Federal has named Dick Braun as the new executive responsible for the Field Services Division. Braun has more than thirty years experience managing large field support programs such as FOSS and was responsible for the successful transition of the USCIS SCOSS program in Vermont and California. Joining Braun in the management of the program is Thomas Leupp, USCIS Operations Executive for FCi Federal, who brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience. Leupp previously worked for the Immigration and Naturalization Service (predecessor to USCIS) and Customs and Border Patrol.
The transfer of the Field Services business unit of Dell Services Federal Government will increase FCi Federal’s employee basefrom more than 800 to more than 1,300, operating in 35 states and two territories.
