Leading Immigration Support Services Contractor Wins Award with HHS Office of Civil Rights
Ashburn, VA - FCi Federal announced today that it has been awarded a contract to provide Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) auditing services to support the Department of Health and Human Service (HHS), Office of Civil Rights (OCR). The $1 million contract is awarded to FCi Federal for an eighteen month performance period.
Teamed with cyber security and privacy provider Lunarline, FCi Federal will be conducting HIPAA audits both at OCR offices and in the field. This is the first task order granted on this contract to provide support to 13 nationwide HHS OCR offices in the areas of monitoring, investigation, and enforcement of anti-discrimination and privacy laws; health information protection; and civil rights policy development, planning, education, and outreach.
