Leesburg, VA – FCi Federal has named Scott F. Miller its new President effective immediately. Miller will be responsible for managing all the company’s operations. FCi Federal’s Founder and CEO, Sharon D. Virts, will focus on leading the company’s growth and development.
“I’m extremely excited to become a part of a rapidly growing company doing important work for our nation,” Miller said. “I look forward to helping take FCi Federal to the next step.”
Miller was Chief Operating Officer of HPTi and helped manage HPTi’s successful growth from $22 million to $114 million. HPTi won many industry awards including the American Business Ethics Award, Best Places to Work in Virginia, and the Virginia Senate Productivity and Quality Assurance Award. Dynamics Research Corp. acquired HPTi for $143 million in June 2011.
Prior to joining HPTi, Mr. Miller was Vice President at MRJ Technology Solutions where he built a successful business delivering data warehousing and discovery, as well as high performance systems solutions to both the federal and commercial markets.
Miller began his career with General Electric Company and holds a Master of Science in systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Drexel University.
