Case Processing

FCi Federal provides customers with a wide range of case processing support services. Once initial sorting, screening, and eligibility determinations have been performed, we create paper and electronic records for management and tracking of each application/case. FCi Federal staff manage correspondence sent to applicants and coordinate the receipt of additional evidence and amplifying information as necessary to create a complete file and case record for Government adjudication. We track files through various Government exception processes (fraud review, medical review, law enforcement actions) depending on the processing environment. We maintain accountability and tracking of files at all times and produce statistical reports that assist the Government in managing its case workload.

Once all documentation and checks are complete on a case, FCi Federal bundles and delivers complete, accurate case records to Government adjudicators in accordance with regulatory timelines. In some processing operations, we also schedule applicants for interviews as part of the adjudication process.

As part of our Professional Services, FCi Federal provides case processing services that include processing of information requests and supporting litigation activities under the Privacy Act and the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), litigation support and records management. FCi Federal offers these case processing services for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of the Treasury, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Department of State (DoS), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
