Credentialing

FCi Federal provides for credential and certificate creation; production and delivery; constituent interaction where follow-up information is required; and, ultimately, dissemination of final decisions. As the credentials we produce are official documents that reflect licensure or citizenship, we perform extensive quality control to ensure 100% accuracy of the credential.

FCi Federal supports the USCG National Vessel Documentation Center where we provide administrative support to the Office of Vessel Activities (CG-543). Recent amendments to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) created a new international certificate as part of special measures to enhance maritime security. The Continuous Synopsis Record (CSR) is a security related document that tracks vital owner, charterer, and safety management information. The Office of Vessel Activities (CG-543) is responsible for establishing the program and procedures needed to issue this new document to the U.S. flag fleet subject to SOLAS requirements. FCi Federal handles the administrative functions related to the receipt of the applications for and the issuance of the Continuous Synopsis Record (CSR) to U.S. Flag Vessels.
